Abu Dhabi Young Drivers Test: Day Three

The final day of the Young Driver Test concluded with Jean-Eric Vergne topping again.

From 15th to 17th November, young drivers will be testing cars for the Formula One teams in the annual Young Drivers Test at Abu Dhabi. Some teams have their test drivers, others have reserve drivers, while some have drivers from other series. Here's how day three went:

Jean-Eric Vergne was fastest on the third and final day of the Young Drivers Test at Abu Dhabi, repeating Daniel Ricciardo's 2010 feat of being fastest on all three days of the test. Red Bull's Vergne set a brilliant 1.38.917, nearly two seconds faster than second place Sam Bird for Mercedes. Over the three days, Jules Bianchi drove 282 laps for Ferrari, as Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes were the only teams to use just one driver. Force India's Max Chilton imprssed with fifth fastest time, but no-one could get anywhere near Frenchman Vergne, whose time today was just half a second slower than Sebastian Vettel's pole time on Sunday.
